Rosemary Mint Natural Deodorant

Our Rosemary Mint scent is a zesty and uplifting aroma that combines fresh spearmint with undertones of rosemary and peppermint. All mainstays in aromatherapy, rosemary has a woodsy quality said to improve mood, while both peppermint and spearmint are bright and refreshing to the senses. When used in combination, the herbs produce a revitalizing yet calming effect, leading to a balanced experience in mind and body.

Contains 3.0 - 3.2 ounces of natural deodorant. Comes in a plastic twist-up tube for easy application.

When our teenage children first started using personal care products, we searched for a natural deodorant but couldn’t find any deodorants on the market that weren’t stacked full of nasty chemicals.

Knowing that ingredients like aluminum, parabens, and sulfates have been linked to everything from skin irritation to hormone disruption, we just didn’t want our children rolling these chemicals under their arms.

So we got to work creating our own. Once we’d perfected the deodorant for our use, we created the Natural Deodorant line with you in mind!

Our Natural Deodorant contains:

• NO petroleum-based chemicals
• NO parabens or phthalates
• JUST Simple, natural ingredients

Natural Deodorant is not an antiperspirant, which means it doesn’t clog your pores to stop your body’s natural process of sweating. The process of clogging pores is often created by unhealthy chemicals like aluminum. Instead, our natural deodorant works to minimize odors caused by sweat. So if you have a big day of sports or outdoor work in the hot sun, we recommend you reapply after a few hours to keep that fresh scent.

The Rosemary Mint Natural Deodorant will prevent embarrassing odor without the use of unsafe and unhealthy chemical ingredients.

Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is a natural moisturizer that can make your skin feel soft and smooth. Coconut oil has antimicrobial properties, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that can help treat skin conditions like acne, eczema, and psoriasis. Coconut oil has a small amount of natural SPF, so it can provide some minor sun protection for your skin. Coconut oil contains vitamin E, which can help even out your skin tone and reduce dark spots.

Arrowroot Powder
Arrowroot Powder acts as a natural drying agent because it is highly absorptive. Bacteria that cause body odor thrive in damp environments, so arrowroot helps fight body odor because it absorbs sweat and moisture. It also contains many beneficial minerals and vitamins such as zinc, iron, potassium, and Vitamin B6. It is very gentle on skin and can soothe skin irritations originating from rashes, acne, or skin sores.

Baking Soda
Baking soda acts as a natural drying agent because it is highly absorptive. Bacteria that cause body odor thrive in damp environments, so it helps fight body odor because it absorbs sweat and moisture. It is also a deodorizing agent that neutralizes the acidic compounds in sweat thereby preventing the growth and proliferation of odor-causing bacteria. It also reduces wetness and discomfort because it absorbs sweat and excess moisture.

Beeswax
Beeswax contains natural emulsifiers, which help to seal in moisture and protect the skin from dryness, making it an excellent natural moisturizer for chapped lips and dry skin. It has natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, which can help to soothe irritated skin and promote healing. Plus, natural beeswax is non-comedogenic, meaning it won't clog pores or cause breakouts, making it ideal for use in skincare products.

Shea Butter
Shea butter is packed with fatty acids that help hydrate, nourish, and keep your skin soft. It helps balance sebum production which prevents the build-up of oil on your skin. It contains cinnamic acid, which has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties that can help to promote healing and prevent infection. It is rich in vitamins A and E, which can help improve skin elasticity and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. It also contains antioxidants which help to protect skin from damage caused by free radicals and oxidative stress.

Dehydrated Goat Milk
When making lotions, lip balms, and deodorants, it’s not safe to use liquid goat milk because bacteria could grow in the liquid environment. So we source dehydrated goat milk from a reputable supplier for the safety of these items.

Essential Oils
Essential oils are purely plant derived and can provide many benefits for you and your skin. From the relaxing and refreshing effects of oils often used in aromatherapy to the reduction of the effects of skin problems like acne, you will find these oils to be powerful, especially when combined with the wonderful qualities of goat milk.

Peppermint Essential Oil
Peppermint essential oil has been shown to help increase blood circulation which makes it a good choice for people with diabetes or arthritis. It has antiseptic properties and can help fight bacteria. A published study found that wound dressings with peppermint essential oil added "exhibited inhibition against Staphylococcus aureus (gram-positive) and Escherichia coli (gram-negative) bacteria." Another published study showed that peppermint essential oil was more effective than minoxidil (Rogaine) at improving hair growth.

1. Dab the deodorant onto your armpit. If you swipe or rub the deodorant, you will most likely use too much.
2. Reapply after a few hours if you have a busy, hot day ahead of you.
